Prior to founding Operation Underground Railroad, he spent more than a decade working as a Special Agent for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force deployed as an undercover operative for the U.S. Child Sex Tourism Jump Team.

Tim is an expert at managing Dark Web investigations where pedophiles and traffickers trade Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). He has trained hundreds of law enforcement professionals and has testified before the U.S. Congress on best practices to liberate children from sex slavery.
